    We document and run the claim

    Teardown, photos of every panel, a written estimate. We talk to the adjuster and submit supplements for hidden damage.

    We repair it to factory spec

    Frame measuring, manufacturer procedures and computer-matched paint. Text updates as we go.

    You get your keys back

    A written repair report and a 3-year warranty. Rental arranged while you wait.

Money, plainly

What you pay. And what you don't.

The first question everyone asks. Here is how it usually works on an insurance repair.

Your deductible

On your own policy, you pay your deductible at pickup. If the other driver was at fault and their insurer accepts the claim, you usually pay none.

Rental car

Paid by the at-fault driver's insurer or by your rental coverage. We set it up; the daily limit depends on the policy.

Hidden damage

Found after teardown? We send the insurer a supplement and wait for approval. Approved supplements are paid by the insurer.

Anything extra

Old damage or upgrades outside the claim are done only if you approve the price in writing first.

Do I have to use the shop my insurer recommends?

No. Your insurer can recommend a shop, but in California you decide where your car is repaired. Tell your adjuster you chose GV Auto Collision.

Who does the insurer pay, me or the shop?

Usually the shop, directly. Sometimes the check comes to you and you sign it over at pickup. We'll tell you how your claim is set up.

What if the insurer's estimate is too low?

That's normal before teardown. We document the extra damage and send a supplement to the insurer for approval.

How long will the repair take?

It depends on the damage, parts and insurer approval. You get a timeline after inspection and text updates during the repair.
