Bumper repair & replacement

A bumper is more than a cover. What’s behind it is what we check first.

Repair or replace?

Scuffs, small cracks and broken mounting tabs can often be repaired and refinished. A bumper that's torn, badly deformed or holding sensors that no longer sit right is usually replaced. We tell you which after we look at it, and why.

What's behind the cover

  • The reinforcement bar and the foam or plastic absorber
  • Brackets and mounting clips
  • Parking sensors, radar and cameras on newer cars
  • Headlights, fog lights and the radiator support

Even a low-speed hit can break these. On an insurance claim, hidden parts are added to the estimate as a supplement once we take the bumper off.

Insurance claim or paying yourself

With insurance, we work with your adjuster directly: photos, estimate and supplements for hidden damage. In California you choose the shop, not your insurer (here's how). Paying yourself? Send photos on WhatsApp and get a written estimate before any work starts.
