Tesla & EV collision repair

Electric cars need a careful hand: high-voltage systems, sensors everywhere, and aluminum in the structure.

What's different about an EV

  • High voltage: the battery and cables are treated with care during teardown and repair, following the manufacturer's procedures.
  • Sensors and cameras: driver-assist systems often need calibration after bumper, windshield or structural work.
  • Structure: many EVs use aluminum and large cast parts, where the manufacturer's repair instructions decide what can be repaired and what must be replaced.
  • Weight: EVs are heavy, so even a "small" hit can damage suspension parts and mounts.

Tesla Insurance and other insurers

Insured with Tesla Insurance? You can file the claim in the Tesla app. See how a Tesla Insurance claim works. Any other insurer works the same way: you choose the shop.

Insurance claim or paying yourself

With insurance, we work with your adjuster directly: photos, estimate and supplements for hidden damage. In California you choose the shop, not your insurer (here's how). Paying yourself? Send photos on WhatsApp and get a written estimate before any work starts.
